Spanish and Danish authorities have dismantled a violent criminal network targeting cryptocurrency holders, resulting in five arrests in Spain and four charges in Denmark. The group allegedly kidnapped and murdered a man while attempting to steal his digital assets through physical coercion.

The operation uncovered a disturbing trend of crypto-related crimes, with masked assailants abducting a couple in Málaga at gunpoint. One victim died after being shot during the abduction, while the attackers attempted to access the couple's crypto wallets during hours of captivity.

Law enforcement seized weapons and electronic devices during coordinated raids, highlighting the increasing security risks facing individual crypto investors. The case marks a significant escalation in criminal tactics targeting digital asset holders.
